PenCambria is an independent magazine devoted to mid-Welsh history, heritage and creative writing. It was founded in 2005 and is edited and published by Gay Roberts. It attracts a wide readership in Wales and internationally, particularly where the Welsh have settled abroad.
This website shows you the content of all Issues (2005-current). All back copies are available (see under Subscription). Annual subscription includes postage within the UK.
Researchers requiring copies of individual articles should contact the Editor directly.
The Editor welcomes submissions about history, culture, folklore, biographies etc which should be of interest to the people of, and from, mid-Wales. The standard of writing should be high and although many of our contributors have research, publication and academic backgrounds we offer support to new writers with less experience. Manuscripts may be submitted by post or email or send a Word file to Gay Roberts (see Subscription pages for addresses).
PenCambia includes requests received from relatives, seeking information about their Welsh ancestors, under “Family History Appeal”.
